Regular speaker in several international security conferences. Main research interests lie in the fields of Application Security, Web Security, Reverse Engineering, Malware, and Software Engineering. Author of several patents in application security.

 

Grigorios Fragkos (aka Greg)

After 20 years in the UK, Dr. Grigorios Fragkos (aka Greg), has recently moved to the UAE where he is responsible for the Cyber Defence / Cyber Advisory Services in Digital14. He is part of the thought leadership initiative to safeguard the future of a smart-led digital ecosystem. Greg is also the vCISO for EXPO 2020 in Dubai, the world’s largest event featuring the participation of 192 countries, opening its doors 1/Oct/2021 for 6 months.

Among other responsibilities, Greg is assisting ENISA as part of the NIS Experts in reviewing and designing incidents for Cyber Europe. Organizer for Security BSides Athens and Amsterdam, and OWASP London Chapter leader.

 

Catalin Curelaru

Catalin is a security generalist specialized into Infrastructure and Product Security areas with a strong knowledge of Security Operations. He works at Visma as a Product Security Engineer, enjoying his time in the Product Security Operations team providing technical leadership in various security services through the Application Security Program.

Catalin is the OWASP Timisoara Chapter Leader where he aims to create a strong local security community focused on improving the application security world. Has also several recognized certifications in the security field like: MCSA, MCSE, Security+, CASP, CEH.

 

Rob Slade

Rob Slade, is a Canadian information security consultant, researcher and instructor. He is the author of Robert Slade's Guide to Computer Viruses, Software Forensics, Dictionary of Information Security and co-author of Viruses Revealed. Slade is the author of thousands of technical book reviews, today published on the techbooks mailing list and in the RISKS Digest, and archived in his Internet Review Project. Xena Olsen

Xena Olsen is a threat intelligence analyst in the financial services industry. A graduate of SANS Women’s Academy with 7 GIAC certifications, an MBA IT Management, and a doctoral student in Cybersecurity at Marymount University.

Xena has spoken at DerbyCon, DEFCON BlueTeamVillage, RSAC, Shmoocon and MORE.

 

Vitor Ventura

Vitor Ventura is a Cisco Talos security researcher. Has a researcher, he investigated and published various articles on emerging threats. Most of the days Vitor is hunting for threats, investigating, them reversing code but also looking for the geopolitical and/or economic context that better suits them. Vitor has been a speaker in conferences, like NorthSec, Recon Brussels, Defcon Crypto Village and BSides Lisbon among others. Prior to that he was IBM X-Force IRIS European manager where he was lead responder on several high profile organizations affected by the WannaCry and NotPetya infections, helping to determine the extent of the damage and to define the recovery path. Before that he did penetration testing at IBM X-Force Red, where Vitor lead flagship projects like Connected Car assessments and Oil and Gas ICS security assessments, custom mobile devices among other IoT security projects. Vitor holds multiple security related certifications like GREM (GIAC Reverse Engineer Malware), CISM (Certified Information Security Manager).

 

Paul Rascagnères

Paul is a security researcher within Talos, Cisco’s threat intelligence and research organization. As a researcher, he performs investigations to identify new threats and presents his findings as publications and at international security conferences throughout the world. He has been involved in security research for 7 years, mainly focusing on malware analysis, malware hunting and more specially on Advanced Persistence Threat campaigns and rootkit capabilities. He previously worked for several incident response team within the private and public sectors.

 

Hardik Parekh

Hardik Parekh is recognized thought leader and executive in security/privacy domain with hands-on contributions to SANS CWE Top 25, OWASP SAMM, BSIMM 1.0 to BSIMM 9; and SAFECode. Hardik is part of the core team which developed OWASP SAMM 2.0, NIST SSDF.

Hardik has 16+ years of hands-on security experience with a track record of developing and maturing security programs in consumer and enterprise companies RSA/EMC, Intuit, Amazon, and Splunk. Hardik has built security programs in dynamic, fast-paced environments while partnering effectively across the company. Hardik has transformed DevOps organization to DevSecOps by integrating security engineering tools in CICD pipeline and delivered security at scale and speed in the Cloud.

 

Arjan Jeckmans

After completing a PhD in applied cryptography, dr. Arjan Jeckmans started working for A.E.T. Europe B.V. Starting as a developer, he is currently the coordinating architect overseeing all PKI solutions development.
